Join the Grey Dog Pack!
Join the Grey Dog pack! We’re hiring energetic and engaging sales people to help out this farmer’s and artisan market season.
We'd love to know why you be a great fit for us. Take a look at the expectations below and if you're interested, email Sally at sally@greydogdistilling.ca
Brand Ambassador
The Grey Dog brand ambassadors are responsible for making sure our customers know about our products and have the opportunity to buy their favourite rhumb.
Job duties involve the set up and take down of the market stall, displaying the products, making sales using Square, and answering questions.
Markets take place in the Edmonton/Sherwood Park and surrounding area, typically on weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays.
Articulate
Grey Dog brand ambassadors are knowledgeable about the products, what sets them apart, the various flavours, and about the Grey Dog story.
Telling the customer is key; brand ambassadors need to be able to speak confidently and knowledgeably
Outgoing
Markets are a busy place, and there's a lot of really cool stuff going on. Grey Dog brand ambassadors need to be able to engage the customer in a noisy environment, but still respectfully (not everyone is a drinker!)
Confidence is key; brand ambassadors need to be able to stand out in a crowd, literally.

Independent
There will be times you're expected to work independently and with little supervision. The brand ambassador needs to be a self starter in order to get things going before the market, during the event, and after.
Motivation is key; the ability to get things done in a timely, responsible way is what we're looking for.
Be 18 years of age or older
You're selling craft spirits, obviously you need to be of legal age in the province of Alberta. Checking ID of the customers is also important to make sure we're being responsible.
18+ is key; but also be comfortable checking IDs of everyone who looks younger than 25, even when it's busy. It's the law.
